Fine Art Glass & Mixed Media Sculpture

As a native Texan, I’ve lived my life surrounded by wide open spaces. And I’ve always been inspired by nature, music and loved ones. A client asked me recently “when did you know you were an artist?” It was an interesting concept for me to contemplate. I quickly recalled staying up till wee hours in the morning as a teenager and making collages from magazine pages. In high school, I was one of the photographers for our yearbook. I had the luxury of my own nice sized garage apartment, which allowed me to keep a darkroom set up in my bathroom. My first professional photographic document was published while I was a sophomore in college. So, the answer, whether or not I’ve always realized it is, “I’ve Always Been an Artist!”

As a teenager, I dreamed of traveling the globe as a professional photographer. After graduating college with a B.A. in Radio/TV and Advertising, I spent several years working in management, sales and marketing. However, the lure of creating art full time overcame my desire to continue working in the corporate world. At that moment, I exchanged my business suits for jeans and steel toed boots and established Linn – Adamson Metal Art.

In previous years, I became best known for my ornate metal crosses and decorative accessories with verdigris patina. But the beautiful colors and wonderful possibilities of working with glass have been in my dreams since my first trip to Venice and Florence while in college. I still love my metal work, but I haven’t been able to disregard my great love of glass. I now focus on creating glass and mixed media sculptures.

I’m very grateful for all the encouragement I’ve been given by my business partner, Vicki Adamson, my immediate and extended family, and all the friends and business associates I’ve met along the way. Having so many cheerleaders is invaluable. I’m a very fortunate soul to have had so much love in my life.

My greatest joy is creating art that inspires others. Thank you for visiting my site and for purchasing our products. It’s my wish that our artwork will help bring you peace, love, joy and many dreams!
